Reception With your donor card, we can automatically print a fresh application form. For confirmation, you will be asked to state your name and birthday. To ensure privacy, it is now possible to complete the donor and recipient safety questionnaire on a touch panel screen. |

Exmanation by Attending Physician An attending physician decides whether a donor is eligible to donate according to previous donation history, current Hb level, and responses to donor and recipient safety questions. |

Blood Donation You can donate blood in a relaxed atmosphere, with TV, movies, or music available. There are two ways to give blood: whole blood donation and apheresis collection. |

Rest Corner After donation, please have a rest for a while with soft drinks and snacks.

At a Blood Drive Blood mobiles visit towns and villages and ask for blood donations. |

Donor Recruitment The blood supply can fall to dangerously low levels according to seasonal donation patterns and/or unexpected events. For these reasons we are grateful to all donors who voluntarily register to give regularly or come on short notice. Rh(-) and other rare blood donors are especially needed on the register. |
